Faisan Estate Wines

In 1992, working with a small one-acre block, Col Walker made his first wine (a Cabernet Sauvignon which still drinks very well today). He then planted another 15 acres over the next four years from which he unashamedly produces wines that reflect the vintage, vineyard site and low yields.
These days, with the help of son Michael now making the wine, Faisan Estate also produces structured Shiraz, Pinot Noir, and Chardonnay that give strong hints to both the vineyard and spiritual home of these varieties.

Hedberg Hill

Peter and Lee Hedberg invite you to their delightful cellar door and vineyard just 3km west of Orange on The Escort Way (Forbes Road). This picturesque vineyard has stunning views of Mount Canobolas and the surrounding valleys. Come and talk viticulture, terroir, taste our award winning wines and meet Oscar, the famous vineyard dog. Wines include Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling, Chardonnay, Viognier, Tempranillo, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.

Prince Of Orange

In a very scenic area west of Orange near limestone caves, Prince of Orange Wines produce wines capturing the essence of cool climate wines; thoroughly enjoyable, fruity, and soft in tannins. Since the first vintage, Sauvignon Blanc has proven its suitability to the region, winning many awards. Also produced are Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz / Merlot and Mistelle Blanc, a white port. We celebrate our connection with Sir Thomas Mitchell, Surveyor-General of NSW, by naming our Cabernet Port, "The Surveyor's Nip".

Printhie Wines

Owned by the Swift family, the Printhie Wines vineyards have now matured after establishment in 1996, we also supplement our fruit intake to the winery with fruit grown by other Orange vignerons. In an deliberate attempt to avoid the fruit salad approach to viticulture, we source the best fruit from the best sites in the region.

The wine portfolio has now been consolidated into three tiers. Our Mt Range is six wines (3 white and 3 red) all of which are varietal, our Mt Canobolas Collection (or MCC) is a quasi-reserve range and our Swift Family Heritage flagship has been trimmed to just one wine, made only from the best fruit and in the best vintages.
