Winemakers, Christophe' Derrez & Lucy Maddox have crafted award winning wines that display "intense Orange" finesse. Our chef Andrew Marr brings his passion of Australian local produce food and he has developed a menu featuring seasonal local produce. Come and try his delicious cuisine at our "Sisters Rock" restaurant. Secluded self contained accommodation is available amongst the vines to allow you to connect with the flow of the vintage and the season.

Brangayne of Orange

Established in 1994, Brangayne has a unique environment protected by fine deciduous and pine trees, and sits comfortably on the north east slopes of Mount Canobolas. Brangayne produces fine cool climate wine from 26 hectares of vineyard that ranges from 870 metres to 1,000 metres in altitude. Brangayne is known for its Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir as well as its signature wines, The Tristan (Cabernet Shiraz Merlot) and The Isolde (Reserve Chardonnay).

Canobolas-Smith Wines

Our mature (planted 1986) unirrigated vineyard gives exceptional fruit. Hand picking, small batch fermentation and maturation in fine grain French oak produces exceptional wine. Taste the wines at our friendly cellar door with Justin Byrne (resident winehead), sparkling Lorraine ("I'm the mother") and winemaker Murray Smith. Try Chardonnay "one of Australasia's most consistent high-quality Chardonnays" (Winewise Magazine) and the flagship red blend "Alchemy". Also Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc, Shiraz, Sparkling, Dessert and Port styles & other occasional small batches that take our fancy.

Cargo Road Winery

Just 10 min from town are the rows of splendid vines grown in the deep red basalt of Cargo Road winery. With the delights of the gourmet cafè, gallery with collection of Tanya Loviz art and the gorgeous views, wine tasters can appreciate the beauty of the Orange region. Red wine varieties include Zinfandel, Merlot & Cabernet Sauvignon. White wines include Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling & Gewurtztraminer. New styles include Dessert Zinfandel and Primitivo Rosé. All wines are produced from the premium grapes grown on the property. Established 1983.

Dindima Wines

The Bell family invites you to its vineyard, winery and cellar door, nestled below Mt Canobolas and surrounded by picturesque orchards. Small parcels of hand-picked grapes are transformed into award winning cool-climate wines by our winemaker - son, James. Dindima's whites include Semillon and Chardonnay. Our reds include Shiraz, Cabernet Merlot blends, Cabernet Sauvignon and a unique fortified Muscat. The cellar door holds many pleasures: tasting from Riedel stemware; a photographic exhibition of wine images, olive oils and more.

La Colline

Aline and Philippe Prudhomme invite you to partake in an informal wine tasting. Enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and incredible views of the Towac Valley while tasting our Pinot Noir or award winning Riesling. Lunch or dine in the 60 seat licensed 'Racine' restaurant, Restaurant & Caterings 'Best New Restaurant', and be tempted by regional cuisine prepared by award winning chef, Shaun Arantz. Orange Highland Wines and Gardens

Nestled in the foothills of Mount Canobolas at an elevation of almost 900 metres, Orange Highland Wines & Gardens has its cellar door set amidst unique and beautiful garden rooms.

Grape varieties are: Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir. Sangiovese has also been planted. From Pinot Noir grapes, a Rosé has been made whilst a dessert wine, 'Highland Gold', was made from late harvest, cordon-cut sauvignon blanc.

Many of its wines have received awards and its gardens won the Best New Garden & Best Commercial Garden in the 2008 Orange Garden Competition.

Ross Hill

Ross Hill, established by the Robson Family in 1994, has become a producer of award winning cool climate wines from grape varieties including Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz and Cabernet Franc. The vineyard, situated at 800m, has been developed on principles of environmental sustainability with wines being hand pruned and grapes hand picked. Until now, the wines have been made by renowned boutique winemaker David Lowe. With the opening of Wallace Lane winery, the wines will now be made in Orange by winemaker Phil Kerney. Ross Hill wines can be tasted at the cellar door, along with premium olive oil.

Word of Mouth Wines

Located at the picturesque Campbell's Corner on the scenic mountain drive up Pinnacle Road to Mt Canobolas, this is one of the highest and coolest vineyards in the district, and often has the latest harvest in the season. The Word of Mouth philosophy is a no compromise approach to quality and sustainability, this is a vineyard worked by people not machines. Our individually styled, award winning wines are a result of careful hand selected fruit from low yielding vines, gently made using minimum intervention. This versatile vineyard produces, Pinot Gris, Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling, Viognier, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Merlot.
