Angullong

Angullong vineyard is located at Panuara amongst the southern foothills of the Orange region, but its cellar door is located in Pasrk Street, Millthorpe, just 12km from Lucknow.

The vineyard overlooks the picturesque Belubula River valley and is home to the Crossing family. Angullong wines are produced from specially selected parcels of fruit from our extensive vineyards. The wines are fresh and lively, and exhibit great regional character. Wines available include Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris, Viognier, Verdelho, Chardonnay, Barbera, Sangiovese, Shiraz Viognier, Shiraz and Cabernet Merlot. Wines are available at the cellar door and selected retail outlets.

Highland Heritage Estate Three generations of winemaking experience ensure the highest quality of wine from the Orange region. Taste our International award winning estate grown wines, (now exported to 16 countries), in our unique, air conditioned railway carriage tasting room overlooking the vineyard. Highland Heritage Restaurant and Function Centre in the middle of the picturesque vineyard has received over 40 NSW Restaurant and Catering Awards for Excellence including, Best Restaurant in a Winery in Australia 2005, Best Function Centre Caterer 2005. Weddings, conferences and functions are our speciality.

Indigo Ridge

Cool Climate, Clean Environment.
At Indigo Ridge the altitude is serious - almost 1km. Ours is a small environmentally sensitive vineyard. Our philosophy is to be as sustainable as practicable. We use no insecticides and our grapes are handpicked. Trish McPherson and Paul Bridge invite you to enjoy their splendid views whilst visiting their cellar door. Local garden sculptures for sale. Our wines include: the iconic Ophir Gold, ground breaking Sparkling Sauvignon Blanc, dry Rosè, classic Cabernet, Cabernet Merlot and Sauvignon Blanc. A Shiraz will be along soon. We export to Singapore, Malaysia and the UK.

Mayfield Vineyard

The guiding philosophy behind Mayfield Vineyard is the harmonious practice of viticulture and winemaking to produce wines, which express the unique qualities of the site. Mayfield's cool climate combined with low yields and extended ripening periods, translate into wines with natural balance & subtle flavours that complement food. Mayfield produces Pinot Noir, Merlot, Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling & Chardonnay. The original School House on the estate now serves as a restaurant and cellar door, with a magnificent outlook over-looking the lake and vineyard.

Moody's Wines

Moody's "Fontenay" vineyard is probably the smallest commercial vineyard in the Orange region, located on a sunny NW slope in Emu Swamp, near Mayfield. Production until now has been concentrated on Shiraz, and vintages have been sold since 2003. Currently 2007 and 2008 are on offer, and there is a small amount of Sauvignon Blanc from the vines planted in 2005, but which were retarded by the 2007 drought. Nevertheless, it is showing good character and promise for the future. A visit to the cellar door receives a warm welcome, and a chance to talk about 105 years of wine business in the Moody family, and admire the collection of antique Taste-vins from Burgundy.

Patina Wines

Patina is a family-owned estate nestled in the rich volcanic slopes near Orange with spectacular views of Mt Canobolas. The vineyard faces north to maximise the sunlight while the high elevation ensures the grapes ripen in the cool of late autumn. The grapes are nurtured to the peak of maturity to preserve the subtle layers of flavour. Winemaker Gerald Naef brings together science and age-old traditions to enhance the flavours forged by the elements of nature to make wines of complexity and elegance. Patina Wines have received many awards including the trophy for the Best White of Show in the Orange wine show 2006. Patina Wines have a boutique range of Chardonnay, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Rosè.

Sharpe Wines of Orange

We, (Margot and Tony Sharpe), are passionate about our award winning estate grown, handmade wines, produced on our pretty vineyard on the slopes of Emu Swamp valley. Our Merlot has won the national Small Vignerons Awards Trophy, and our range is rated highly at wine shows, wine magazines and by James Halliday's Australian Wine Companion series. Specialising in Merlot, Cabernet and Cabernet blends, we make our wines in the traditional manner - handpicking, basket pressing and long maturation in French oak barrels. Toogoolah Winery

Visit our winery and cellar door situated on the Mitchell Highway in the historic Gold Mining village of Lucknow, just east of Orange. Our family run vineyard (established in 1995) is 2 kilometres south of Lucknow where we grow high altitude cool climate grapes on hand pruned, low yielding vines. With help from our consultant winemakers we produce Sauvignon Blanc, Shiraz, Riesling, Merlot, Chardonnay, Shiraz Rosè, Shiraz/Cabernet and Dessert wine for tasting and sales at the winery.
