Jarretts of Orange

Jarretts offer Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Marsanne, Cabernet Merlot and Shiraz by mail order and through restaurants and retailers in Orange and Bathurst. Jarretts super premium Finger & Thumb wines are made only in exceptional years when the fruit quality demands extra wine making attention and more time in the barrel. They're a bit harder to find, but well worth the extra effort.

Logan

The Logan family have been producing fine wines from the Orange region since 1997. These wines are made purely from grapes grown in Orange, NSW. At an altitude ranging from 850 to 1050 metres above sea level, the vineyards are some of the highest in Australia. We selected the region of Orange over all others in NSW when we started the Logan label because we believe the region's altitude and accompanying cool weather and rich volcanic soils are the perfect ingredients for producing premium, fruit driven table wines. We obviously made the right decision as since inception, the Logan label from Orange has been widely acclaimed both locally in Australia and in the International circuit of wine shows and wine media. Each of the labels in this range feature the delicate embroidery work of a very talented lady. The different branches, fruits and flowers depicted in the embroidery illustrate the character of each individual wine. Each piece of embroidery took skill, patience and a little love to make, just like the wines inside each bottle. Our Tasting Room is located in Mudgee, two hours from Orange. Whilst you won't get to meet us in person on your visit to Orange, you can certainly pick up some of our delightful wines through one of the following Orange stockists: Ashcroft's Supa IGA Supermarket, D'Aquino's Liquor Specialists, Lolli Redini, Union Bank Wine Bar & Bottle shop and Rocking Horse Lounge.

Established in 2002 Madrez Wine Services has been offering premium contract winemaking and bottling services to the grape growers of NSW for 10 years. Family owned and run by winemakers , French born Christophe Derrez and Australian Lucy Maddox. Combining Old World traditions and New World techniques they lavish the utmost attention on every vintage to craft wines of quality and regional expression.

Millamolong

Millamolong Estate is steeped in Australian sporting history. In 1930 the four Ashton brothers embarked on a journey that would stamp Australian polo prowess on the world. Since that time, the Ashtons have created an oasis in the Orange region with the Millamolong Polo Club, luxurious guesthouse accommodation, horse riding and more recently, winemaking. Millamolong specialises in the classic varieties Riesling, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz and Merlot. Please call us to arrange a tasting and tour of the station.

Cumulus Estate Wines

Cumulus Estate Wines vineyard was established in 1995. Our 508 hectare vineyard gently rises and falls above and below an elevation of 600m above sea level – thereby traversing both the Orange and Central Ranges Geographical Indication (GI) wine regions. In such unique surroundings our multi-regional vineyard provides a blend of elevation, terrain, soil and aspect which coupled with the area's high altitude, intense sunlight and cool climate delivers wines with bright fruit flavours and subtle elegance and feature award winning wines and packaging. Our brands include Cumulus, named for the clouds that crown our vineyard, hand crafted in exceptional vintages, and vinified in small batches, reflecting our cool climate viticulture and winemaking techniques; the intense yet elegant Climbing Wines which have wonderful balance between fruit flavours and oak and our Rolling range with bright fruit flavours.

Sons and Brothers Vineyard

Christopher and Kathryn Bourke grow, make and bottle their Cabernet Sauvignon dominant blend at Millthorpe. This single vineyard wine has great longevity. It is the only wine this vineyard produces. It is very good drinking on release and just keeps getting better with age. Sons & Brothers is a James Halliday 4 star rated vineyard.

Tamburlaine

Tamburlaine, a successful Hunter Valley producer, now has vineyards in Orange. Winemaker Mark Davidson found his ideal site at Borenore, 15 mins west of Orange. The vineyards are above 800m on deep volcanic basalt soils. Varieties include Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Syrah (Shiraz), Merlot & Cabernet Sauvignon. There is no Borenore cellar-door yet but as is the Tamburlaine way the (Mark Davidson) Reserve Orange Vineyard wines are available from the Hunter Valley cellar-door at McDonalds Rd, POKOLBIN.
There are also examples to taste at the Borenore Store just near the vineyard on Borenore Rd - the largest commercial organic wine grape vineyard in Australia.
